上から見るとハニカム模様、横から見ると色の線が楽しめる作品です。
円柱状の塊から削り出して全体の形を形成しています。その為厚みがあり、ガラスの質感を楽しめる作品です。
外側、内側ともに磨き仕上げの為、光沢と透明感があります。
ガラスに厚みを持たせるため内側の空間は小さめですが蓋にも空間があるので、指輪やお香など
を入れることができます。
蓋を閉めた状態でも中に入れた物をガラスを通して見ることができます。
内側に小さな泡が入っています。

【珠箱について】
ガラスの蓋物の制作は、学生のことから続けている私のライフワークです。
「珠」には美しいもの・大切なものを例えていう語という意味があります。
美しい感情、大切な心をしまっておく存在であるように願いを込め、「珠箱」と命名しました。

【Tenten-ori 】
When viewed from above, you can see a honeycomb pattern, and when viewed from the side, you can enjoy the lines of color.
The overall shape is carved out from a cylindrical block, which gives it thickness and allows you to enjoy the texture of the glass.
Both the outside and inside are polished to give it a glossy, transparent look.
To give the glass thickness, the space inside is small, but there is also space in the lid, so you can put rings, incense, etc.
You can see the items inside through the glass even with the lid closed.
There are small bubbles on the inside.

【About Tamabako】
Creating glass boxes has been my lifework since I was a student.
"Tama" has the meaning of a word that compares beautiful and important things.
"Hako=bako" means box.
I named my work "Tamabako" with the hope that it will be a presence that preserves beautiful emotions and precious hearts.
