【かさねシリーズ】
透明なガラスで色ガラスを何層も挟み込んだ塊を削って制作した作品です。
外側はすりガラスで、内側はガラスらしい透明感があります。
色は数種類の青色、白色。
形は上から見ると葉っぱのような形をしています。
ランダムに重ねた色で、さまざまな空の色を挟み込むイメージで制作しました。

【珠箱について】
ガラスの蓋物の制作は、学生のことから続けている私のライフワークです。
「珠」には美しいもの・大切なものを例えていう語という意味があります。
美しい感情、大切な心をしまっておく存在であるように願いを込め、「珠箱」と命名しました。

【Kasane Series】
This work was created by carving a block of clear glass with many layers of colored glass sandwiched between it.
The outside is frosted glass, while the inside has the transparency typical of glass.
The colors are several shades of blue and white.
Viewed from above, it has a leaf-like shape.
I created this with the idea of the various colors of the sky being sandwiched between the randomly layered colors.

【About Tamabako】
Creating glass boxes has been my lifework since I was a student.
"Tama" has the meaning of a word that compares beautiful and important things.
"Hako=bako" means box.
I named my work "Tamabako" with the hope that it will be a presence that preserves beautiful emotions and precious hearts.
