【かさねシリーズ】
透明なガラスで色ガラスを何層も挟み込んだ塊を削って制作した作品です。
外側は磨りガラス仕上げ、内側は磨き仕上げです。
色はピンクから黄色、緑、水色を重ねてグラデーションにしています。
色の重なり、ガラス特有の透明感や磨りガラスで滲んだ色などを楽しむことができます。

【珠箱について】
ガラスの蓋物の制作は、学生のことから続けている私のライフワークです。
「珠」には美しいもの・大切なものを例えていう語という意味があります。
美しい感情、大切な心をしまっておく存在であるように願いを込め、「珠箱」と命名しました。

【Kasane Series】
This work was created by carving a block of clear glass with many layers of colored glass sandwiched between it.
The outside is frosted glass and the inside is polished.
The colors are a gradation that ranges from pink to yellow, green and light blue.
You can enjoy the layering of colors, the transparency unique to glass, and the colors that blend with the frosted glass.

【About Tamabako】
Creating glass boxes has been my lifework since I was a student.
"Tama" has the meaning of a word that compares beautiful and important things.
"Hako=bako" means box.
I named my work "Tamabako" with the hope that it will be a presence that preserves beautiful emotions and precious hearts.
